The kids and I were sprawled on top of my bed yesterday after a whirlwind of cleaning. I was lamenting that I'd always wanted a Pottery Barn house, one that's beautifully decorated and always clean. One where no one panicks when the doorbell unexpectedly rings. Carolina piped in with, "I always wanted to live in a house made of straw!"

And when I asked her about the wolf possibility, she pointed out that we didn't have a big bad wolf, so yes, she has it all figured out.
