Tonight Mouse and I went to the Mother/ Daughter Tea at Chick-fil-a. Some of you may know how I feel about Chick-fil-a and I want it duly recorded that this was not just an excuse to eat there.
We had reservations with my friend, Lisa and her two daughters, Hannah and Emily. After getting our picture made (I have no idea how CFA is planning on sending it to me, however. This occurred to me on my drive home) we were escorted to our table, ate, were served complimentary tea and dessert and then watched the girls get makeup and nails done. As sweet and fun as it was, I do not wish to see Mouse in makeup again for at least a decade. After our CFA fun, we did the other favorite activity of people with the double X chromosone- we went to look for shoes.
I, of course, left my (overly expensive with more technology than I use) camera at home and took these foggy pictures on my Blackberry. They are better than nothing. (Unless that picture from CFA magically arrives in the mail).
And at the end of our festivities, we left towards Atlanta to pick Juliana up from play practice. Shoe shopping, brownie eating and nail painting are exhausting.
