Juliana starts planning her birthdays about nine months in advance. We named her the "cruise director" when she was about three years old. This year we invited six of her friends from her drama troupe over for a campout sleepover at the Jones Family Campground. We instituted the Redneck Water Park as Birch brought home a 100 foot long, 20 foot wide roll of plastic sheeting that we rolled down the huge hill on the side of our yard. After the seven kid pileup was over, we had a digital photo scavenger hunt, a hot dog roast, ,a bean bag toss game (a standard at all our campouts), an animal friend sleeping bag craft in the tent, a flashlight treasure hunt after dark and a s'mores roast. The girls would probably say that the best part was all the fun in the tent after "lights out". I "slept" in a tent beside theirs and am still working all the kinks out of my back. Happy Birthday Baby Girl!
